I offer a high quality family history research service, with a focus on digging out the details that bring a family’s story to life.
I can help you tackle a specific question, such as discovering the truth behind a family myth or finding a hard-to-trace ancestor. Where possible I give the historical context alongside your family’s history.
Alternatively, you can buy a family history package, which will look at the history of your Victorian ancestors in detail. You will receive a quality report including the story of your ancestors, the places they lived and their occupations, along with full details of the sources I used and copies of the original records where possible. This makes a great family history gift that will be treasured.
As well as researching UK-wide family history research, I study original records in my local archives at Cambridgeshire, Huntingdonshire and Essex. I have a BA (Hons) Medieval Studies, and am an Associate of AGRA (the Association of Genealogists and Researchers in Archives).
I charge £30 an hour, or my packages start from 275.
